Looks great, sounds great, but I;m only on level 2 and I can NOT make the jump up the wall to the next level, it doesnt even seem possible. And the reviewers say it gets HARDER from here? Games should not be this hard, wheres the fun in a game that you cant even play?

If you guys are going to release "bugfix" updates, can you please add in iPhone 5 display support too!? This is so annoying!

This game would have been 5 stars. The controls make the game less enjoyable. Otherwise the art, music, plot, and platforming are wonderful! Its a really fun game. Very well done. This game isnt optimized for the new taller screen resolution although i hope it will be.

Fun platformer with great artwork and style. Controls could use work. Having the left right in a different spot than up down is weird.

The game has a good storyline, the controls are alright, and its a really fun game to play, but the scenes drag on and I just want to play! I would probably recommend this to someone

Very good game, i havent seen any games with this jazz/silent movie theme. Well worth the price. Pretty interesting story, and a pretty good replay value. The trumpet is also a cool feature.(when u get your trumpet it stops all moving objects). Theres a boss every few rounds. In conclusion, a unique and great game. Overall excellent Level design, music, amd story. My favorite game!

Some of the bad reviews on here are bizarre. You can save, the game is challenging but not too hard, and most of all its fun. And the neat, brassy art adds to the experience, as does the music.

All of these negative reviews are wrong. This game has amazing art, music, development, and gameplay. There is not a single point in this game that is "impossible." The picture pieces might be a little challenging to gather them all because they are for achievements. You dont have to have all of the notes or pictures from a level to complete the level. I got this when it was free but it is worthy of being a paid app.

Game requires pinpoint accuracy and timing at place. Controls do not allow for that. I find too often that I am missing the platforms due to controls and not game play. Fix the controls and this would be a 5 star game.

(Pros and cons at the bottom) This 2D platformer has an atypical setting, one obviously inspired by jazz in its infancy. This setting is the strongest part of the game, which includes the music and graphics. The games production values are great in this regard, but how about the platforming mechanics? Each level has 80 notes and 10 pictures to collect. As an experienced lover of 2D platformers, I found collecting everything rather easy, and mostly enjoyable. You move left and right and can jump... with two very awkwardly placed buttons for climbing when you come into contact with a ladder. The left-right movement is sometimes a bit unresponsive, but overall not too bad most of the time. However, those awkwardly placed climbing buttons are just obnoxious and were really the only thing about playing this game that annoyed me. Most of the times I would mess up were just related to these climbing buttons being positioned unintuitively (both up and down are placed right above left and right, instead of down being below left-right). I would suggest the developers patch to give us a full dpad or something, because there really is a fair bit of climbing up and down to do. That aside, it was an enjoyable experience and I still give it 4.5 stars for being otherwise fun, relaxing, and having a pleasantly unique aesthetic. Pros: + Excellent graphics and music + Has a storyline that unfolds between levels, which many iOS platformers dont even bother with + Stuff to collect Cons: - Quite easy (less so if you collect everything, though) - Annoying placement of climbing buttons, feels awkward

The game has wonderful music, and a less wonderful, trite storyline. The art style is interesting, but the colors, albeit purposefully applied, were bland. Finally, there were numerous occasions where Trump just got stuck and couldnt move or a button was unrepsonsive, and I had to restart the level, which points to a larger overall problem -- you can only save at the end of the level, and if the app restarts after being inactive for a while, you must redo the entire level.

Please update and make it fit for iPhone 5 screen i will pay more for it if u do that

I am actually quite surprised and pleased by the difficulty ramp up in this game. The story is OK but I am really enjoying the game mechanics. As far as the controls go, and I realize control pads on mobile devices are never optimal, the controls presented with this game are better than most. While getting through some of the tougher levels can be somewhat frustrating, there was never a point where I found the controls not capable of allowing me to finish the level. I am a bit disappointed in the achievement tracking. I have earned the Complete Chapter 3 achievement but the Complete Chapter 2 achievement never registered. Please fix this. It is annoying, and, as I tend to be somewhat of an achievement hound, this frustrates me. Ill certainly up my review to five stars if the achievement system is fixed.
