Needs some attention. Some of the story text stays up till you read it and then you click for the next section, while other text automatically goes by so fast you dont have time to read it. Since this game touts being story driven, this is kind of a fault that should be addressed. Another complaint would be that some of the moves you need to pull off to make progress seem to require a lot of luck... I tried to make the jump up the walls but after trying if for quite a long time I never got any closer to achieving the goal. Eventually I just got frustrated and shut down the game. The graphics are nice, the story is charming, and its about New Orleans. Great. The game just seems loose and sloppy. After playing the game for 10 minutes I felt over charged and dissatisfied.

This game has an amazing storyline, beautiful visuals and fantastic soundtrack. However, the save points is an issue. If you are halfway through a level and need to switch off your ipad or play a few days later, you will have to start right at the beginning of the level. Also some of the challenges are extremely difficult especially with the delayed controls that happen at times. Hopefully the creators will solve the save point issue because this is one of the best games around.

I really like this app but it isnt keeping my progress. I dont want to start from the beginning each time, obviously. Anyone else having this problem?

Great platforming game on iPhone with amazing art.

I love the game, polished and with beautiful artwork. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. Im stuck in level 3, the 2nd or 3rd act, I think. Anyways its where the walls are moving up and down and you have to stop them with the trumpet. After the 2 walls you have to wall jump to a rope with a ladder close to it. Anyways, Ive tried everything-jumped from both walls, kept the 2nd wall moving, to try and reach that darn rope, and I always just miss it! That darn rope is driving me nuts! BTW, theres a pic to collect between the 3 moving walls, just wall jump up to it. If anyone has a tip plz post here n I will check back. Plz, have pity on an old woman stuck in bed with the flu. Thanks!

The art, animation and soundtrack are something special here and that is combined with solid gameplay, a wonderful setting and an interesting and well presented story. Even the menu system is presented as a traversable level. My only criticism is that when replaying a level, it would be nice to be able to skip past the cut scenes. Prospective buyers, be sure not to skip this game.

It wont even load on my iPod touch 3G, keeps crashing : Please fix this problem soon.

The subtitle screens doesnt show anything. I only see a blacked old card like those muted films. The same happens in pause menu. Just the buttons, no text. Its just me or is this a knowed glitch?

The game is great. Nothing new to say that hasnt already been said. However, iCloud support is needed to sync game progress between idevices. Really dont want to start at different sections all the time.

I love this game, I wish it had iCloud support though.

I didnt really like it but the only thing thats good about it is he does moon jumps. But its pretty boring and takes up a lot of space.

Can you spell save game? Apparently you have to make it through one complete level before it saves. At least I think thats the way it works. I havent made it to the first level yet. I dont have the time to invest 20 or 30 minutes or whatever to make it to level 2. Otherwise, when you start up again, youre right back at the beginning. Thank goodness I only paid a buck. UPDATE I have had it. Gave it a second chance but I still end up having to start from the beginning. I will remember this developer. I am deleting this piece of trash.

Thx for ur hard working.the bug about the notes and pictures lacking I reported 2 month ago have been fixed finally! Thats wonderful that I can finished this game with 16/16 achievements.this feel is worth about 2 months waiting. Thx guys.

It makes me miss new Orleans gret sound track , I play it over and over its like supermario in new Orleans !!

This is one of the best games Ive played on the iOS, best platformer, doubtless. Pretty creative and original too. Brilliant artwork, sweet animation, amazing soundtrack, fun gameplay. The story is alright, but it has colorful characters and cool environments. If you like jazz or 2D animation definitely check this out.

The app keeps crashing fix it!!

Making something like this a classic platformer, and on the worst platform for platformers out there, just screams ill-considered cash-in on the faux-retro fad. It could have been playable, but inexperience led to terrible controls and awkward, frustrating level design with a much too slow character. It really feels like playing an NES game. The challenges in particular, like collecting music notes and portraits, feel tacked on and out of place. Despite the overt cartooniness of the storytelling, it has charm, and if it wasnt marred by a game that just isnt fun itd be much more interesting and probably compell me to finish it.

IMHO, The only thing missing is iCade support. Please add it in an update.
